We have been here since April 2013, the yards have been full all winter. A GGS has picked up several gate according to the service man.
Last summer most of the folks stayed all summer. It has been a brutal winter. Cold again 49 for a high 31 when we got up this morning.
But I did see the biggest bobcat I have ever seen yesterday

Gate guards are only used if the land owner requires it in the contract. Very few GGs are used outside TX.

Any gate guarding jobs in the Marcellus shale?

i'd like to know about gate guarding in other states besides texas as well.
