- Don_SharExplorerwhen I order something I need I will always go to the office and pick it up. The service men have their arms full servicing the guards. While in Cotulla I had my orders sent to the local automotive store and went in there to pick it up.(with their permission of course.)
My wife has a washer and she done a load about everyday. We had a 500 gal. tank and when they brought us water every two weeks we were fine, one time the service man stretched out and we ran out of water. 250 gal a week should be plenty if you are not washing you RV and toad. - waywardwindsExplorerwell i hope everyone made it though the wind yesterday. that was bad.
I did want to ask somthing we work for timekeepers we get 250 gal. of water a week. that just barely enough it seems. is this the norm? we have a washer and dryer but can't use it just not enough water for it.
also the monitor panel went out last week so i orderd a new one payed extra to have it shipped 2nd day air to the office in bourne. told them about it and milton our supervisor. it should have got there last thurs. but no one has brought it out to us. with out it i cant's see how much propane we have or check the tanks batteries or the water pump on the coach and the gas side of the water heater. they told us they would bring what we orderd out to us but that don't seen to be true. does other companys ignor you like this?
thanks

We worked for GGs and was on a gate for Swift for 9 months. Very nice people, kinda laid back and didn't push real hard. Very easy to work for.

- Southern_NightsExplorerLots of information here on most of the companies but nothing on Primo and only one or two for J&G or Swift.
Anyone have information they can share on well they service their guards? - mdbassExplorer

then the water tank hose came off and pumped it dry. didn't know it till the next day because of all the mud from the storm.
Highly recommend you use your external pump and fill your internal water tank as needed; shutting off the valve to the big tank the rest of the time. IF you have internal tanks. - The_TexanExplorerThe Feds lost their labor lawsuit against the GG community. They will file an appeal.....

we did it now working a gate started tue afternoon. just in time for our first thunderstorm. what fun hahaha. then the water tank hose came off and pumped it dry. didn't know it till the next day because of all the mud from the storm. should have more water today. we had some in the fresh water tank but thats gone now too. we filled up 13 pages in thr first 24 hours. seems they have a new rig just setting up and a pipe line crew and a facilities crew here adding more tanks and pipe line.
You may want to check and see if you are supposed to be writing everyone down or if you are just assigned to write down the traffic for the rig. It sure would help out. We are assigned with a rig and are just responsible for the rig traffic, all other traffic we just wave in and out. - tininthewindExplorer

What Gate Guard Company do you work for? What is their base daily pay for sitting gate? Do they pay extra for extra activity? If so how much? Thank you for any info.
