I am installing to protect the toad...do you mean the guard itself will kick up the small rocks? Will it do this even if I trim it so it doesn't drag the ground?
I was worried it might look funny if I just left a big gap where the bumper goes up...it would be a full 1/3 of the bumper just about...
Yes, the guard will kick up small stones and other light debris. Cutting it shorter will help, but not eliminate the problem. The air flow under it will still create an upward air flow.
