We had also discovered batteries won't charge and water heater and fridge won't work on electric. I told him I wouldn't know where to start or end on it.
the batteries (probably) aren't charging because the converter/charger is toast.
the water heater is a bit more difficult to diagnose (w/out more info) BUT....assuming its a conventional LP/AC RV water heater, it might be a damaged electric heating element or blown fuse (outside). I haven't seen it happen but the fuse-able link could also be blown.
does the water heater heat when switched to LP ?
