Full payment would be swell but I'd settle for reimbursement up to the policy limit regardless if it's a sedan for $25/day/30 days or a tow vehicle for 5. It just bugs me that they'd happily pay $750 for a month of a car but not $750 against a 5 day for the vehicle needed.
I should add that in the case of theft it will be 30 days before the claim is settled. You have to hold for 20 days to give time for possible recovery - then it goes to Total Loss for valuation and settlement.
