well unless somebody has a company that works differently I guess this has run its course.
The takeaway is:
If you're away from home towing a trailer and your tow vehicle is stolen you're in for significant grief. You might consider a review of your policies to determine what will happen in this event with regard to the vehicle..an interim vehicle..getting your trailer home..and the contents that may have been stolen along with the tow vehicle.
when this happens everybody involved has a Process which they get to employ..except you.
