Based on the insurers logic, is leased car not insurable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Something is amuck.
If the insurer is hiding behind the non-owned issue because the dialysis equipment is "loaned" pursue doing a $1 per year lease with the owner of the equipment. Second thought, does a $1 per year lease mean the value of the equipment is extremely low and therefore the insurance coverage would also be extremely low. Does the lender of the equipment insure the equipment. Perhaps the insurability of the equipment should be approached via the lender AND the user jointly.
