Her study is directed toward RV Parks and it was an interesting read. I’m not sure she has any real personal in-depth knowledge of RVing though since she thinks boondocking includes parking lots and, as Francesca pointed out, she only made three trips to augment the European data. I know very little about RVing in Europe other than it’s a lot smaller than the States.
My DW’s BIL works for a Belgian company that works on radioactive hospital equipment. He covers a large area out west and they wanted to save some bucks by dropping a tech and expanding his area. He complained they had no idea what they were asking for and I suggested he overlay a map of Europe with a similar scale US one and send it to them. As I recall, a coast to coast trip here went from Lisbon to Moscow there. I’m sure that wasn’t the only factor in their decision, but they discarded that idea.
