Interior wall decal removal

I recently purchased a new toy hauler and as most of you know they come with warning stickers all over the place. I tried to remove a small one in the kitchen area and it took some of the wall covering with it. Are there any tricks or solvents that can be used to remove the decals without having them take the wall covering with it? Any suggestions or recommendations would be much appreciated.
