I was in this kind of situation a long time ago working for the power company. I was a good 2 miles from my truck ( reading meters ) and all of a sudden it not me! I looked everywhere for a place to go but houses surrounded me. I was left with two choices, knock on the door or start looking for new pants. With no other options I knocked on the door and in uniform explained who I was and how far my truck was parked..... The lady said NO, and I walked away and sat down and luckily my stomach settles till I made it back. I don't blame the women, she did the right thing but if I'm in the same situation or on the road with the camper it will depend on what you look like and how you present yourself. I know you can't always judge a book by its cover but you usually can.
