Interesting conversation! I just asked DH this question. He thought about it for a minute, then said that he would probably agree with doxiemom. He said it's kind of hard to turn away someone in dire need. And I can't imagine him any other way. Depends on the situation, but your act of kindness might just be the start of a "pay it forward" movement!
