The scenario was a two hour traffic jamb, not a stranger coming to lurk and rob. What has made US citizens so fearful of others? The bogeyman is in our heads.

I like to think I'd help a person out.
There's nothing to steal in our camper, I'd leave the coach entry door open while they're in there, and I can be a lot scarier lookin' than most. As far as a mess being produced? Well, I guess that'd be a chance I take. I'd probably offer them a beer/soda and a Twinkie on their way out. Or, some Pepto, if they'd rather (there's always Cherry Pepto on board). I much, much prefer to be left alone, but when you see a man fighting a bear, you help the man, not the bear.
If there were 200 people in line, an alternative arrangement might be better. I'm certain my little black tank wouldn't do. Perhaps, a tarp and a bucket/trash bag, as previously mentioned. I doubt you'd have 200 people approaching, but after four or five, I might be breaking out the tarp and bucket.
Hey, Bigred. So, you agree with me? Is that why you quoted my post? I'm a little puzzled.
