Interstate SRM Batteries

If you are using a Group 29 for house batteries I would suggest you don't.

MOST G-29's are either Starting or MARINE/deep cycle (Which is mostly starting)

You really need DEEP CYCLE and for that. the GC-2 (You need two in series to make as 12 volt battery) is your best choice.. Why the Six volt boxes?

Well first you get 220 Amp Hours with over 100 useable v/s 105/30. Second the 4D (Same capacity as the GC-2 pair) is VERY heavy (GC-2 each is half the weight of the 4D) and finally the GC-2 is very popular since GC means "Golf Car" and courses buy 'em by the pallet load. So they cost less per unit capacity.

That is not a TRUE deep cycle battery ! For a house battery, you are better off with a pair of 6V golf cart batteries.

These are sealed wet cell. Also call "maintenance free".
