As long as anything that touches the ground as tires, jacks, cordes, hoses, limbs of trees, shrubs, the ants have a higway into the unit, on the tires I spray the grouond arround the tires in a square I even spray between the duall tires, had ants coming out of hole between tires one time, spraying the tire it self may miss a spot and that is all that is requiered for the ants to go in, I normally use wood under the jacks and I make shure the wood is well soaked.
On some environmentally conscientus parks they allow the home defense and or only ajax cleanner, we are currentlly in a beautifull park in Palm Springs with a lot of wild life and no insectizides are permitted, managment will spray your units with home defence and nothing else, there are big red ants that do not come in and tiny black ones, smalleast ant I have ever seen that are a real trouble, they get sprayed, home defense also works on spiders and cocoroaches here they call them palmetos or water bugs, go figure, for me they are cocoroaches.
The home defense is also safe for doogs and cats we where recomended the product by the vet, having 2 dogs and 3 cats at home and a skunk and posums, we did not want dead animals under the house.
