Inverter all zeros

Went back to the motorhome after work. Inverter still had 3 zeros across the display. The panel also showed a red light that indicates a fault. The manual said if the red fault light was on, to lookup the fault code. I looked up the fault codes in the manual but all the fault codes started with an E (E01, E03, etc.) I didn't see anything listed for 000. I unplugged the motorhome from AC and opened the fridge to determine if the inverter was working and it was not. I turned off the inverter and pulled the motor home out of the garage and started the generator. I believe the generator starts from the house batteries. The generator started right up so I figured that the batteries couldn't be to low. I turned on the inverter again and it started working. Showed a green light (on utility) and showed the voltage at 13.8. I then turned off the generator and the light went to yellow which shows on battery power. I opened the fridge and it was running on the inverter. Whatever starting the generator did got the inverter working again. Hopefully this was a one time event but I doubt it.
