IOTA ATS-50R fire
Folks, if you still have the IOTA transfer switch in a plastic case in your RV, get rid of it. I know they have been recalled because of the fire danger, but there are still thousands of them in use and many, like me, have an orphan RV and the recall is on our dime.
Last Thursday night, we had electrical problems and I shut the power off for the night and called for a tech the next morning. When he started looking, the first thing he found was a melted IOTA ATS and the relays inside were burned. Had I not shut the power off for the night, he said we would probably have lost the RV.
