Is a tandem axle cargo trailer worth the extra $ over single

Since we can't go out anywhere I have been working on my business plan starting a craft business. We (my wife and I) will need a enclosed cargo trailer to transport the goods to various craft shows...

If you tear up a wheel or if a hub craters you can chain up the offending wheel and limp home. For my single axle motorcycle trailer I carry a spare tire and hub assembly. (You can put brakes on a single axle as well. Plus I have had a tandem wheel where only one axle had brakes.)
BTW make sure they don't give you a metric axle.
