Is a tandem axle cargo trailer worth the extra $ over single

I am a tandem guy for all the reasons presented. With a SA you don't need to balance the load for tire wear which for some is an issue. I just thnk the weight limitaion is why I would not have a SA. SA also easier to move around unloaded and by yourself. Putting brakes on that small of a traler is really not necessary for the legal weight yo have with it. I don't know what you were pulling it with, but the tow vehicle should have more than enough brakes to stop that as well.
