"When the tire is FLAT and the wheel is on the ground what are you going to have with you to fix it?"
I believe they call that device a "Jack"... :h For the record I would never completely trust them and always put a jack stand under the rig before crawling or reaching beneath the rig. Placing chocks on the unaffected wheels regardless of what method you use to raise the trailer is always a good idea. Having a spare or even two {especially with a single axle trailer} is also considered by most to be the way to go.
