My dual 6K axel equipment trailer rids as rough as some of the single axel trailers I've towed. Put an appropriate load on either, ride smooths out! Not sure I will agree that singles are worst or better than tandems per say. Both styles have positives and negatives all there own.

On his 12' enclosed trailer he went with the 6k Combined 6 leaf Rockwell American US Made springs to replace the stock 3500# springs. YEP rode great with a good load but not so much unloaded! His plan is to add a axle with brakes. I would assume he would go 3k each axle???
He loads the trailer with Cabinets that are not assembled that he sells and installs in the DFW, TX area. Also sells and installs Quartz countertops.
