I think the OPs suggestion is a valid one. Especially that his employees must volunteer some time each month. Employee recognition is something that too many employers forget about. An employee recognition board in each store takes up so little room and it would give us something to read while we are waiting in line...:W....
That said, my take is Marcus is promoting the fact that he's available to anyone who wants to take the time to email him. He's provided his personal email on this and other forums. What other CEO does that? He reads and answers those that take the time to write to him. I've done it and he's answered me promptly. I've also seen and talked to him at rallies and in several stores. Name recognition is good but face recognition is better still. now if he would just get rid of those outrageous colored tennies..:B..JMHO.....Dennis
