OP, you sound desperate. Here are some ideas that might work for you, but your kids might be too young for some of them this year.
Summer day camp for 2 weeks for the kids? Or neighbor child care for 2 weeks? Or vacation bible school at a local church for the kids for a week? Cub Scout / Girl Scout day camps last a week usually.
Wouldn't it be nice if you could arrange two camping trips with your current trailer?
- a summer trip for wife and children to camp nearby and you can visit every night and weekend. You could set the trailer up and bring it home on the starting and ending weekends.
- a fall trip for you nearby and wife and children visit you when they can.

EDIT: I see your kids are 8 and 10. Cub Scout / GIrls Scout day camp are great options. Look around for different local options.
