"How about rearranging your priorities. The kids grow up way too fast to ignore them now. Start selling all the toys and excessive stuff, pare down to the absolute basics, get totally debt free and have the wife quit working. Many many people kill themselves trying to keep up with the Joneses, only to discover one day they were the Joneses. Sorry to loose you, but a year off getting debt free is far better than ignoring family time."
Wouldn't it be nice if it was all that simple! Many families depend on 2 incomes just to keep their head above water, let along "keep up with the Joneses". Be real! I agree that you should keep the "extras" of camping, deal with your current situation as you can and sell your RV. You can always get back to it in a couple of years. The worst is to look out the window and see the RV - and be unable to enjoy it!!!
