Is it time to throw in the towel?

I didn't read all the responses so hope I am not repeating but...we are in the AC business too so we totally understand your problem. My suggestion, if you truly love camping, is to keep what you have and take weekend trips as much as possible to enjoy it until time allows for vacations again. However, if it were me, I might would start looking now for reputable teen interested in making some money those two weeks. Maybe a friend or coworker's daughter or someone from church etc. Then your wife could save her vacation for a time you could also take off. When our children were still at home, we took family vacations during the kid's Thanksgiving, Christmas or Spring Break from school because summer time was just not an option with the AC business. Now it is just the two of us and we go in the Spring and Fall plus many weekend trips in between.

These are just my suggestions, they may not be suitable for you.
