- dodge_guyExplorer IIYes there are small amounts of chemicals in them. After they are built they outgas. After about 6 months the smell is just about gone. There is no danger to anyone. I used my 07 immediately after buying it and none of us are sick!

If these were made with that much formaldehyde in them, doesn't it stand to reason that ALL in those models & years were made the same, and IF so, doesn't it stand to reason that they would now be out of business due to law suits? :h
