Yes there are small amounts of chemicals in them. After they are built they outgas. After about 6 months the smell is just about gone. There is no danger to anyone. I used my 07 immediately after buying it and none of us are sick!

2005-2012? that's a lot of RV's I'm pretty sure a lot of folks have bought them, how many have croaked from formaldehyde ?
If these were made with that much formaldehyde in them, doesn't it stand to reason that ALL in those models & years were made the same, and IF so, doesn't it stand to reason that they would now be out of business due to law suits? :h
