That is not just FB and twitter. You will be served up targeted ads anywhere on the internet. Apparently you have not noticed this on every single website you visit.
Actually not 'cause AdBlockPlus has been my friend for many a year;).
For instance I see no ads on this site unless I'm on my Android phone at which point someone keeps trying to tell me I need to buy a Tiffin or Prevost; annoying.
Truth be know I could probably block ads on FB (don't know about Twitter) but I'm just not that interested in those sites because AdBlock or not they are just a tad too nosey for me.
