People simply age out which could explain part of it. I have seen some people run off not only this but other forums by rude & insulting posts from others.
This time of year many turn away from RV related stuff to pursue other interests and other matters. We hardly have any snow in our part of the world anymore but this year has seen many weeks of snow and below freezing temps. The last thing on our minds right now is going camping. Our TT has 8+ inches of snow on it today. Pffft... I'm taking advantage of the bad weather by spending a ton of time restoring a vintage car.
One thing I don't like about this forum is that it is so out of date compared to other RV forums. If we had a FR product, I'd be using the FR forum. Even small RV forums like regional ones have nicer looking graphics - how come they can do it?
This forum's functionality is not the greatest either. For ex., I have not been able to use the percent symbol in a post and URLs of photos cannot contain a percent symbol for all of 2016. I've switched to Woodall's many times to post a photo. Why can't someone fix such a simple issue? I haven't seen any improvements in the forum in the 4-5 years I've been using it. Considering the wealth behind the CW empire, I'd expect more from the forum. It's almost like DOS in the 80s. There's lots of features that would be nice to have. Classifieds are perfectly okay on other forums but not here.
Why do some people get banned like say Tireman9? He has a wealth of info. that is highly useful to all RV-ers. He's okay on other forums but not this one. A few people get their noses out of joint and members disappear. This is the worst forum I've ever seen for censorship.
