I don't think that the moderators are necessarily on anyone's payroll, but it sure looks like some of the "contributor's" have more than personal motivation involved in their advice. There are a few that can always be counted on to be pro one issue and con on another. I advice new folks to ignore the wildest ten percent for something or against something, while looking for the truth in the middle.
