I know some like at SS that must work and will get paid some day. Those sitting at home and now will be paid too could like SS staff be manning Yosemite right now at no new net cost to tax payers.
Millions of dollars are being lost by hotels, gas stations, etc, etc that support the tourists that normally would be traveling in this beautiful season.
