It's been a long winter...

I can tell because I actually sat through several "Gone With the Wynns" videos this weekend. In spite of their "cutesy" presentation, the subject matter is pretty good and the production quality is excellent.

Has anyone on the forum ever run into them on the road? Are they as California in person as they are on video?

I'm just bored I guess. We're in the middle of the worse winter we've had in years. I was hoping to get the Sahara out of the storage yard early in March to start my spring projects. The way it's going now, the snow won't be melting until May.

Even the DW is looking at Florida properties...

    We ran into the Wynns a few times in our travels. It is hard to miss their motorhome with the lettering on it.

    They are super nice folks and admire what they are doing. I look forward to seeing them again.

    Don't know the Wynns or who they are but it has been a long winter and getting longer as we sit through this 4 day storm with another 2 feet of snow. Getting old real quick. Stay safe.

    I followed the Wynn's since they were on a House Hunters episode in 2011 - looking for their first RV to fulltime in for a year. Then they did the website and I followed them on Facebook. They've already gone beyond the original 1-year mark.

    I got tired of the self-promotions and people thinking they had all the answers. Especially when I see them saying the wrong thing. Kind of like a used car salesman.

    I did notice a few months ago, that they've switched from the first Monaco Vesta "Windy" to a different brand - a Fleetwood.

    Jeez. I've been through the Wynns, RV Geeks and RV Travel. I just watched Mega RVs on the Travel Channel for the 10th time. I might have to start woodworking or something.

    Spent part of my day today with a pole saw trimming palm trees in my backyard.

    The property is going to look real nice by the time we head out of here & hit the road in April. The itch to get moving is getting worse by the day.

    This weekend is the Springfield RV show, might take a ride to get a fix.

    Come on down the weather is fine and real estate foreclosures are still available at low low prices!!

    I quit the snow state a few years ago and haven't looked back. Just watching the news about all the snow in your area gives me the shivers......and then I go outside into the warm 70 degree temps and thank God I don't live there anymore! :C
