It's THAT time!

Just sitting here (Florida) ROTF laughing.

The weather station here is reporting the horrible "wind chill factor" and how everyone is going to have to dress in layers, protect your skin, plants and animals!! OMG these people need to feel what REAL wind chill factors are up North.

Apparently in Florida they start reporting the life threatening "wind chill factor" at the whopping dangerous low temp of 50 degrees. :R

Palm Springs on the 19th and then home for a couple weeks then out to Temecula for a couple weeks. Then home for a couple weeks and back to the Springs for 2 weeks end of March!

Well we haven't gotten the three inches of snow yet but it's still coming down, the wind is blowing about 30MPH and it's colder than that brass monkey.

It's snowing and 14 degrees, by tomorrow night it's going to be -10 below... tough to think about spring now.... but I'm trying...

It's 0 today with a high of -15 overnight. 8 inches of snow in the past 24 hours. Fun, fun!!

It's too cold to even play in the snow, so we are spending all of our time today planning for vacations. First one is April to the Smokies. 2 planned for May, one of which is in Ohio at the Cuyahoga NP. June is local with tons of friends and streamside. July is on Lake Michigan and then to the sand dunes. August is to a Yogi in Indiana the kids love!
About 2 more to schedule then our calendar is full. Can't wait.

My countdown app says 113 days. Hard to believe when the high is 0 today.

Planing???????

We like the doing! This is a fantastic week on the Oregon coast many campers enjoying the weather. Whale watching is big this time of year.





Yes time to start planing for Spring and Summer, as parks are full during that time!

Don't know where but we are going. May be a good run around staying east of the Mississippi or may be trip #3 to Alaska. Depends on how much needs to be spent on maintenance. Truck tires & trailer brakes for sure.

Got the two trips going on MS Streets & Trips files. Decision might be made after we depart with work done.

To rub it in or not to rub it in? Ok, rub it in. Goin fishin Jan 12-15 in the Gulf. 69-71 deg. Ya'll have fun! (You can have your revenge in August)

Lets see, zero right now, 3 inches of snow and snowing hard, up to 14 inches total expected. I would be out of here now except I screwed up and scheduled a DRs. appointment this month. Therefore 20 days till I dig the trailer out of the snowbank, load the bike in the truck and head south to warm weather.
