- jplante4Explorer IIA little far from Orlando, but we did Southern Oaks in Summerfield (near The Villages) for a week last winter. It was relatively nice with a few seasonals that go back every winter. Close to I75.
- RbertalottoExplorerThanks folks! Very helpful . Might have to try Thousand Trails or Boondockers
- Dutch_12078Explorer IIWe booked all of our longer term sites in Florida for this winter before we left last winter, and had to go on a couple of waiting lists even then. I would start checking daily now, and hope for a cancellation someplace that will fit your needs.
- Michelle_SExplorer IIIThe winter park we stay at in Sebring only had approx half a dozen sites left in May. So I would be checking on a place soon. If you don't mind moving every week or two you could be ok, but if looking to stay put for three months, good luck as the months you're looking at are prime time.
The Snow Bird population has been increasing each year for the past 5 or 6 years, filling up lots of parks. - Big_KatunaExplorer IIOrange City RV Resort. NearI4, 95, and SR 46 to go west to 75.
- IvylogExplorer IIIStage Stop in Winter Garden... Nice enough and close to Fla Turnpike. No problem getting a site if I stop recommending it.:B
- djsamuelNomadLots of snowbirds down here that time of year. Could be tough. If you are looking at the Disney area, you may want to take a look at Thousand Trails in Clermont as well as Elite Resorts at Citrus Valley. Encore Lake Magic Resort is another one.
- RbertalottoExplorerNot that important as I'll be traveling all over the state from a relatively central location.
- aslaksonExplorerBig area. Which side of town?
