Jayco 50 years

In the April 2018 Trailer Life magazine (I'm a little behind in my reading) there is an ad from Jayco celebrating 50 years of fun, now almost 52 years, which leads me to believe that they must be doing something right.
As you see we don't have one but I certainly would look at them if I had to buy another rig (at age 81 I don't intend to, however).
So what have they been doing right? Can any other manufacturers match or exceed the 52 years?

  • NOw that Jayco has been Acquired by Thor I don't see it as the original family owned operation.

Thor owns Airstream, which I would consider owning. I wouldn't consider owning a Thor TT as my previous one was Junk, my 2 cents

not sure if I would buy another Jayco

  • My Jayco HTT, front face of my trailer started to de-lam on year 2 when a roof seam popped which was covered under the 2 year warranty. On the positive side service was great doing the repair. Problem free since.

Owned a Jayco Jay series PopUp once, no problems with that.

    Yes, Airstream: 84 years.
