Jeep Liberty or Honda CRV pros and cons.

I have narrowed it down to a Jeep Liberty or Honda CRV
used between 1998 and 2005
looking for any advice
I will be using it as a work car/ daily commutator about 60 miles a day
and want to tow behind the MH
any advice is greatly appreciated.

  • According to Consumer Reports it's the CRV hands down. Not even close.

For whatever reason, Jeep has never been able to get a good handle on quality and long term reliability. It's a shame.

Go with a CRV if you want riding comfort, good gas mileage, and reliability.
  • I've got a 2006 Jeep Liberty. Easy to tow but the mileage of my Liberty is no that great. Since you will be using this car as a commuting vehicle I would check gas mileage between the two.
  • I know owners of both. For reliability, I'd take the CRV hands down.
