thanks guys.
I'm trying to be sure I'm not giving up on the Jordan if it is something to do with the TT itself.
I think I'm gonna pull it apart and peek inside.
Lynnmor, if the maxbrake is truly better than the Jordan, if must be awesome! the Jordan worked so well, I NEVER had to adjust it and it was always silky smooth on stops. I told my wife how much I loved the Jordan just about every time we pulled somewhere. Considering how the really great controllers are not being produced, I have considered the maxbrake just for the reason so stated. Then again, $350 for a controller that may not have any support or warranty soon, doesn't sound good either.
wittmeba, The problem with the smacking it was that it didn't start working on the first couple of hits. I've used the 'tap' test on many electronic modules, so I know what I'm looking for. It wasn't consistant
