Just Asking

Could a person be considered mentally unstable if he tried to sell his RV at this time of year?

Depends on if he's considered mentally unstable the rest of the time.
  • Put it it there for the price you want and see what happens. All it takes is the right person at the right time. If it doesn’t sell, you haven’t lost anything. If it does sell, great, it’s over and done.
  • Prices have cooled some but now will be the best time to sell in the next year or so.
  • Good time to sell assuming the RV is roadworthy. I think Grit Dog just sold his slick and easy at full asking price.
With apartment rents still rapidly increasing someone may need a place for the winter.
  • Bluedog,

I think the better question is should he be called mentally unstable if he ever bought an RV. Motorhomes are the worst.....

In reality, if you have to get top dollar and you are not paying storage fees, you might wait until people have their tax return in hand and are thinking about spring.

If you need to get rid of it fast, this is the time to sell it because the bargain hunters are always looking.

    Matt
  • If they don’t need to sell, then probably not not a good idea. If they have been watching what’s happening to the economy, now may be the best time for a while.
