As I've read through many of the posts/threads I see that many post here that have an obvious dislike for CW, Good Sam, or anything to do with it, yet they still sign on here and participate in one way or another. I am not being critical or throwing rocks, I'm just curious to know why if someone has such disdain that they would continue to log on to this website? Thanks in advance.

Education and the knowledge that someone will be able to assist with a question that you have....sooner or later.

The forum is free and sometimes - when you can weed through the folks that are crusty, argumentative, and people that take things way too personally - it can offer some decent advice. No purchase required. CW is the Wal Mart of the camping world. But you don't have to support them to post here.

Envy. Wish I'd thought of it. Especially the design. This forum covers all the bases, but gives me the ability to hide the subjects that I either know nothing about or have no interest in. Class As and tent camping come to mind. And using an alias allows me to post what I really think about something or some place without hearing a knock at my door. On the other side, its nice to know what other campers truly think about a CG they've been in or a location that they've visited. Nothing wrong with peeking over another camper's shoulder.

When I signed up for this message board, I had no idea it was owned by Camping World. I found it through a direct link on another web site not affiliated with Camping World.This message board isn't about promoting Camping World or Good Sam or any of their products and services. That is why I keep coming back. There is a wealth of knowledge here that does not exist anywhere else on the internet. If it has to do with camping and RVing, most likely someone here has experienced it before. -Michael
