Just curious about "Passport America"

I joined this year, as the membership cost+ was recovered by the savings for an eight night stay at a park in San Diego. The park was good, in line with most parks I've stayed at. Whe we are planning a trip, I check the catalog to see if there's a participating park in the area. We don't plan our trips around member parks.
