If you travel around the country, it's well worth it, you make your dues back in the 1st or 2nd stay. If you only restrict yourself to a specific geographic area, there may not be a PA CG near by, therefore it would NOT be worth it.
There are restrictions at many of the CG's, like only valid from Sunday to Thursday, or not on holiday weekends, or certain times of year, some have no restrictions, if you are flexible enough, you can save a lot of money. I would suggest going to their website & looking around. Most people that have a problem with it, never checked it out first.
After you join, some of the restrictions can be worked around simply by talking to the CG directly, we stayed at one that had a maximum 6 day PA rate, we stayed 9 at the 50% rate.
You'll get answers from folks that it didn't work for, but personally, I won't be without it.
