More people are behind on car loan payments (by 90+ days or more) than ever before. CNN story. Can't make car payments - definitely can't afford an RV.
Despite what you hear, I think there is a much deeper issue going on that isn't talked about much or recognized, and a lot is due to events over the past couple of years. The signs are out there - I predict a recession in the not too distant future if things don't change and it could be global. That'd definitely hit the US RV industry hard.
