Keep Flat Screen TV in rig over the winter??
I heard that the screens could crack in the cold. Is that true? So I was wondering if I shouldnt take them out of the rig for the winter. What do you do if you live in cold country. Im in NY. Thank...

Where do you live????? NY...but does it get cold there? We live in central Oregon, temps drop to 20 below in the winter. We don't leave ours in the rig. LCDs WILL freeze.......believe me, I know..... We never got a good pic after that one winter.....it had a 1 1/2" strip of blank screen across the middle. Never recovered..... LCD clocks freeze, too. :( :(
on edit: DH says that the last TV we bought had a column talking about this....said it had a temp range...NO temps below 30 deg. F.... check it out.
