No irony here at all. The "have nots" always take from the "haves" because there's nothing to take from the "have nots"!
I'm a long time gun-owner, have had a concealed carry permit for over 30 years, teach multiple disciplines of firearms education and would NEVER take a person's life over property. It serves no useful purpose whatsoever. As much as it hurt last summer when our rental car got broken into and our valuables stolen it pales in comparison to the repercussions of taking a human life. Those who put property ahead of a human being on "principle" ensure mankind loses just a little bit more humanity and are no better than those that steal.
