Keeping Mice Out of Camper

We have a new 5th wheel and will be putting it away for winter storage within the next month. What do people suggest for keeping mice out of the camper during the winter months? Thank you for your help! :)
  • do all the hints in mouse control. I use peppermint oil and kab clean in my rv and my boats stored in a pole bldg no mice. crawl under that rv and fill every hole ,if its the size of a dime a mouse can get in.

  • First thing to do is remove all food from the unit. Once that is gone they will have no reason to be in there. Some will say to put mouse or rat poison in the trailer. Problem with that is it will draw them into the trailer as it is made to be appealing to them. You don't want to draw them in there to poison them and have them die in the walls somewhere. When I say all food that includes dog food. Had friend leave a tupperware container with dog food in it. Mice chewed through the container to get to the food.
