Keeping new fresh water tank clean
I just purchased a new TT and want to keep the fresh water tank clean and fresh for drinking. What is the best way to keep things from growing in it? Keep it full or empty? Flush it? Chlorine or other...

I clean my tank and lines with a little bleach in the Spring. I flush it out several times afterward, before putting it into use.
I always keep the tank at least 1/4 the rest of the season, never draining empty, which IMO, is what causes growth to start. If it sits for more than a couple of weeks, I drain, and refill when I am going to use it.
