I found this, and would like to know if anybody has done it:

I am fine with this. I do not know if I can prove that I spend time equally (how do you prove that??) plus I am just starting out on this and I don't really know.
There are a few reasons I want to keep it registered in Washington, and it is not to avoid fees/taxes, etc..
1. It will be stored on my property in WA and seems more legit to have it registered there. The house I will be renting out, but when I am in WA I will be staying in the MH.
2. I am looking to get my sister on the insurance and she lives in WA. She wants to be able to use it for vacationing when I am not in it.
3. I want a Seahawks license plate.

Many folks would state that they own property in another state, to which I would explain that if they spend equal amounts of time at both residences, they can be a dual resident.
If you claim to be a dual resident, then you can register your vehicle in both states. You will receive a set of license plates for both states and you need to inform the Department of Motor Vehicles that you are claiming dual residency. You can have both sets of plates displayed at the same time or, more commonly, when you are in one state, you display that state's plates and change them when you are elsewhere.
