Keeping RV registered in different state after moving?

I currently live in Washington and will be registering my vehicle in WA. I will then move to California at some point, but want to keep my RV registered in WA. I am not doing this to avoid taxes...

It's where the trailer resides not where you live.

I would check with your state DMV to verify.
