Now you are left with the MH registered in WA and insured thru CA. Get in an accident and you will certainly run into problems with coverage.

For it to all go well you have to keep your drivers license in WA. Then you can keep it registered and insured there.
But that brings up what you are going to do with your personal vehicle? Change the plates to CA on that and they will want you to change your drivers license and the circle begins back to square one!

I went through this when we moved from NY. California has very strict laws and timelines regarding DL's and car registration. The DMV here encourages people to turn neighbors in with out of state plates.
Call your insurance company. They can explain unless they don't represent in California.
