Can someone explain the appeal of K cups? There are all sorts of one cup filter or coffee press systems that allow you endless choices of coffee at a low price. They all work just about as fast as a K cup system and do not require electricity.
Downside: They are, typically, energy hogs and the individual serving cups are expensive. If you want more than one cup, repeat the coffee making process.
Until I get to the point where I have to have beans out of a rodents ass from Java, I'll use my simpler methods, percolator for large batches and a funnel with coffee filter for smaller batch. I've also drank a fair amount of cowboy coffee---pour ground beans in a pot of hot water, steep, pour in 1/2 cup of cold water to sink the grounds.
