- sdianel_-acct_cExplorerI colored my hair a few times in the RV with no problems. Just have to be more careful due to limited space. You also have to consider the holding tanks. We hooked up the sewer hose and left it open while I colored my hair and showered then closed the valve. I also used the campground bath once.
- kakampersExplorerI've been coloring my own hair in the RV for the last 10 years as a full timer. I have a dedicated towel that I use as a cover to apply the color in the bathroom, then after it's set, I jump in the shower to rinse the excess away...never had a problem.
- DutchmenSportExplorerI've been my wife's beautician for 30 years. While camping, on many occasions, I've died her hair and given her perms. We usually do it all outside and pour any water in a fire pit (as we usually have a fire going), so the mess is minimal.
If doing this inside your camper, use the kitchen sink and put a plastic tub in the bottom of the sink. Before doing that, drape towels over the sinks and counter top. This will catch any of the die from staining your surfaces. If you have a plastic cover, even a plastic trash bag, you can use that too. It works, you just have be careful and not splash!
Also, my wife cuts my hair, for 30 years now too. And we both cut the dog's hair (fur).
