That's a commonly used trick similar to when a police officer asks "Do you have any guns knives, hand grenades or missiles?", an honest law-abiding person will stand there with a stunned look on their face or laugh like "Did I just hear that right?" but someone being dishonest will react much differently, afraid of being caught with something they shouldn't have.
